We can confirm that these WhatsApp messages have no association with our recruitment office or team.
We do however apologise that you have been in receipt of one of these types of messages and it is very frustrating that these fraudsters are impersonating us and our team here.
We have been made aware that this fraud and scam has been going on for over 6 months, and that these fraudsters are impersonating not just us but other recruiters and recruitment companies as well, and that they are targeting people randomly via WhatsApp up and down the country plus internationally as well.
Jobs Aware and Action Fraud, links below, are very much aware of this issue and concerned. We have also made them aware that we are being impersonated in this way and that people are receiving these type of WhatsApp messages.
1. Please feel free to screenshot the WhatsApp message you have received and send it to both Action Fraud and Jobs Aware.
2. Then make sure you block the WhatsApp message and report to WhatsApp
